Dosage form Characterisation

The optimisation of dosage forms is often as important as the identification of the active ingredient. Characterisation and quality control of Aerosol or Solid Dosage forms required a deep understanding of particle size, morphology and Polymorph identification. Electron backscatter detection (EBSD) is ideally suited to this work, this high-speed microstructural-crystallographic technique readily identifies grain bounties, partial sizes and readily identifies different polymorphic species.
